Description


The 562 single-phase PLC filter is designed for use in grids with ripple control technology.


Data in the form of high-frequency ripple control signals is superimposed onto the line frequency of 50/60 Hz in the supply power grid.
Ripple control signals are used for controlling smart meters in smart grids or devices such as street lights, night storage heating systems or tariff switching (off-peak electricity).


These transmission processes can be very quickly and cost-effectively implemented due to superimposed.
Powerline Communication (PLC) is the transmission of data in power grids.
These signals can be picked up by modern devices and be mis-interpreted as internal control signals. This can lead to malfunctions in the devices.
