Applications: Switch-mode power supplies for industrial electronics, telecommunications, data systems engineering, DC applications.

Recommended filter for suppressing interference according to  EN 55011, Class A and EN 61800-3, category C2. The use of electrical and electronic equipment is increasing daily. This means that more and more energy, control and computer installations are placed in close proximity to each other.Therefore when they are operating they can disrupt each other. In order to prevent disturbances, suitably rated mains filters are required.

REO-Mains filters are suitable for both - individual and general suppression. Providing the total current in each phase does not excced the permissible rated level, then it is possible to suppress any number of items of equipment with a single filter.

The series CNW 541 with single step design is also available with small leakage current and as specially medical version (without y-capacitors). The filter can optionally delivered with an overvoltage protection.
