Communication Systems
In response to market requirements for industrial communication systems REO ELEKTRONIK AG has developed a range of products called REODATA which are interface modules that are designed for front-panel or chassis- plate mounting; available as open printed-circuit boards for building into equipment that has an RS232 interface, or as control units that are used for remote servicing. The latter enable machines to be monitored and serviced using PC to PC data transfer or by SMS. Communication electronics are no longer excluded from industrial applications. The advantages are obvious; whether it is monitoring a product level, pipeline, wind-turbine or used in buildings for controlling heating or roller-blinds, the applications are numerous; early intervention especially remotely by PC can reduce disturbances, downtime, and save costs.
